Solvotrin Therapeutics wins InterTradeIreland “Project Exemplar” Award

Solvotrin Award from InterTradeSolvotrin was awarded the InterTradeIreland “Project Exemplar” award, for the Company’s investigation of the pre-formulation properties of ST0702 and demonstration of clear benefits for later formulation of the drug. InterTradeIreland is the agency responsible for fostering cross border trade, investment and innovation North and South.

Solvotrin Therapeutics specialises in creating new patent protected drugs for the treatment of rare diseases in the areas of cardiovascular and cancer prevention and treatment. Tom O’Brien, of Solvotrin, with the support of the School of Pharmacy at Queens University Belfast, led the project to assist Solvotrin to select and develop the lead compound for its new cholesterol drug.
